activities of swisssounds.com
are operated and managed by Xplosion
Management, Carl Flisch, acting as a non-profit
social enterprise. This project is an official initiative
and part of the Musical Heritage Organization. Our primary
mission is to preserve and provide free, universal
access to public domain music, sounds, and voice recordings
of Swiss origin. To fund our archiving goals, we
sell surplus and donated physical sound carriers
(such as vinyl, CDs, and shellac records) through our integrated
online shop and via the external marketplace Ricardo.ch.
All proceeds from these sales are directly reinvested into
the project and the preservation of Swiss audio heritage.

swisssounds.com operates as a non-profit social enterprise
distributing physical sound carriers (CDs and Vinyl)
on behalf of Records.earth and as part of the Musical
Heritage Organization. We do not own the musical copyrights
or intellectual property rights contained within the
recordings sold. All rights belong to their respective
artists, producers, and legal copyright holders.
2. Product Condition & Professional Restoration
All items offered on this website are modern sound and
audiovisual recordings received via annual public donations
to our sound archive. Due to their secondhand nature,
items may show signs of cosmetic wear. To prevent waste
and preserve audio heritage, severely scratched CDs
undergo a professional restoration process where a micro-layer
of the surface is polished/resurfaced.
3. Limitation of Liability
While we carefully test and restore our inventory to
ensure optimal playback quality, all items are sold
"as is". swisssounds.com makes no warranties
that every vintage or restored carrier will be compatible
with all playback devices. To the maximum extent permitted
under Swiss law, any liability for sequential damages,
data loss, or audio playback issues is explicitly excluded.

condition or playback quality of these pre-owned media items.
